The better you play the more you will enjoy playing tennis. The better your technique is the least chances you have of getting injured. Whether you motivation is to beat “Tom, Dick, or Jane”, to get more fun out of the game, or to prevent injuries, why not invest a little time and effort to see if you can make a jump to the next level of play, enjoyment, or fitness?

Private Lessons: $45.00 per/hour
Semi Private Lessons (2 people): $55 per/hour ($27.50 per person/hour)
Group Lessons (4-6 people): $65 per/person (for a set of 4, 1-hour lessons)

All rained out lessons will be reschedule. Group lesson schedule subject to change. Alternate instructors may teach if needed. Instructors are not responsible for making up a lesson missed by student.

Dentonia Championship Tournament
The DPTC Championship Tournament is held yearly in August. Details are posted inside the clubhouse, with results of current and past events posted in the archives section of this website.

"DPTC 2010 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS
Hello all It's time already to start with the championships as this year there will be 9 tournaments:
Men's singles
Ladies' singles
Men's over 50 singles (over 50 as of Jan. 1/2010)
Men's doubles
Ladies' doubles
Mixed doubles
Junior singles - under 18 (under 18 as of Jan 1/2010)
Junior singles - under 14 (under 14 as of Jan 1/2010)
Junior doubles - one under 18 and one under 14 to make up a team.


Players will be guaranteed 2 matches (in each tournament).
Juniors guaranteed 3 matches (in each tournament).
$5 per player to enter a tournament.

Signup will close on Saturday July 17th.
Draws will be posted shortly thereafter.

No signup after the draw for a tournament has been published.
Players will be given a deadline for each round to be completed.
Normally, around a week will be allowed for each round.
If a match is not completed, somebody must default, or toss a coin to decide.


Matches are best of three regular sets, with tiebreaker at 6 all.
Note that tournament matches can be played without interruption (unlike ladder matches which are subject to the regular half hour rule).
Players to supply their own balls.
The club will supply balls for the finals.
All tournaments will be completed by September 30th, and prizes awarded at the Annual General Meeting in October.

Dentonia Singles Ladder Challenge
The Singles Ladder Challenge is run in the form of a "box ladder." Players play one two-set (no third set, regardless of score) singles match against everyone from their respective "box", and at the end of each month the top two from each box advance and the bottom two drop to the box below. For further details regarding the league and its setup, please contact Sasha Tisljar at: stisljar@hotmail.com or view the bulletin board inside the clubhouse.

Social Round Robin
An open event for all members of DPTC (ages 15 and up), run on Wednesdays between 7:00 and 9:30PM. Anyone attending will be mixed and matched into a series of short doubles matches, and light refreshments are served in between matches. The event is social in tone, but designed to provide a respectable level of challenging tennis for those attending.

AM Mixer
The AM Mixer is a morning version of the popular Social Round Robin, running every Tuesday and Thursday from 8-10AM. Anyone attending will be mixed and matched into a series of short doubles matches. Light refreshments will be provided.
